Had to leave before mid day unfortunately. Great turn out. Who won all the trophies and anyone get any good pics??
In all the excitement, I took a camera and didn't take any pics..
Lucky Kate took a couple. Here's the main one.. Sorry it is just mine, but better than nothing I guess.
She still looks good.
Very Nice Display!

Were you happy with the responce?
Yeah, I think they were.. Over 100 cars apparently. Where were you Col?
I didn't realise I was invited!
Seriously, I was in my shed looking over what's left of my kombi motor.
It was an excellent day and great weather.
Good location with a market to pick up toys. A couple of us picked up beetles made out of Coca Cola, Pepsi or Heinekin cans. Dougie collected 7
different little beetle key ring (he has squillions of them already) and he had his eye out for a tiny remote control beetle (has large ones already)
but non there only mini's etc.
I took some pics but they need putting onto disc from film from SLR
Some nice VW's there that I hadn't seen before
Kol, Steve & Micheal told us about Peewee Hows it going? Hope you get
back on the road soon.
Invited? You need to be formally invited to a Cruise now? You'd rather check you dead motor than come to the Jamboree?:o
Going slow Jen.
Jim, I figured I need to save every spare penny.
Bummer. Oh well mate, next year, and plenty more this year too.
Missed you Kol.
Hey it was Bel and my first Jamoree:bounce
Dougie ( :kiss) had spent all of yesterday getting her old 36hp engine looking so sweet. We put her reupholstered front seats in this morning, so
comfortable and look excellent (thanks 65busser) It was good to be out in her again.
Picked up a Helphos search light for her, just needs glass and a new rubber. It was not something I was looking for but saw one in my new restoration
manual and was facinated by it, then I found one for sale
Sorry I missed you Jen. Would loved to have seen Bel in her finery!!
Brad
Imagine a 10/10 and your starting to get close.
Superb job brad :thumb
Brad, took Herbie over to look at the seats he sold me for Bel. He offered to buy them back for what I paid for them LOL

Thanks to Anthony, Nathan and the Volkommen boys including all the others involved with the Jamboree! Great event, I'll be back next year with
another project! Exciting times ahead with 'progressive thinkers' judging the event...it is now possible to win without the mega-dollar
paintjob but simply on the vehicle's 'character'
Thanks again!
