Take care on the M7. Cops starting to use camera cars on it. One today between Quakers Parkway and Richmond Rd (about 1 km from Richmond Rd exit) at 3.15 pm.
I hope they don't time my tag, otherwise im stuffed..
I was thinking the same thing Ryan. Did a trip a few weeks ago from North Gosford to Ingleburn in 70 mins. God bless the M7.
beware big brother is watching you
Got this from a friend that works for the M7:
The M7 have implemented speed prevention devices based on the time one enters the motorway to time exiting.
Based on the distance, time travelled and time started and finished, they can work out your average speed.
If it is more than 15% over the speed limit, a fine will be presented.
The NSW Labour Government have authorised this to be legal and that NO 'SPEED CAMERA WARNING SIGNS' are required as there are no actual radars.
It is based on mathematics.
So beware, your $12 trip might cost you a lot more.
P.S. If you don't have an etag, the cameras still get your numberplate!
Revenue Raising ???:jesus
so i guess that means u can keep a constant speed of 115 kmh and still be safe right?
Camera car there today again but on other side (east) at 5.15 pm. Looks like the Blacktown or Quakers cops need a revenue top up!
