GS Limo 3 - April 1st, 2003 at 10:02 PM

 Hi all,
Just drove back to Sydney on 31/3/03 after completing a TV shoot for channel seven, programme to be seen in Queensland at the end of April call Creek to the Coast.

The shoot was done along the 40 Mile Beach and Rainbow Beach on Sunday.

The feature of the programme is about the differences between the Myers Manx of the 60's and the Sharpbuilt GS Limo, 4 seater buggies of the 2000's.

Four of these Sharpbuilt GS Limo's buggies that have been built over the last 3 years are featured along with a Myers Manx.

The cars from right to left are

Myers Manx - Dark Blue - Andrew & Ilene

GS Limo - Purple - Kevin & Baraba

GS Limo - Blue Metal Flake - Mike Sharp

GS Limo - Tangareen - Robert & family

GS Limo - Red - myself Brian

Hope you enjoy the attached photo's and for you Queenslanders who might watch the programme.

Thats what I need - A heap of sharpbuilts to be built so I might be able to get one second hand in a few years :thumb

Will get my Brother to tape it for me and post it down. Cheers Brian. See you in a couple of weeks I hope.

I think they should've informed the manx club so we could've had a decent showing of manx buggies. 4 vs 1 isn't very fair.

Maybe next time.....

bugboymatt - April 4th, 2003 at 07:52 AM

I think it should have been a bit more open and shared between buggies 1 against 4 not a fair representation.
Manx's only two seaters, and the GS limo is 4 ! Big difference straight away !!!
What about the other buggy manufactors how come they didn't get invited to come along show what they have to offer !!
Ohwell............
Guess not a true representation of buggies in Oz !! Which it could have been used for. How much interest would it have attracted if there were more of a variety there !!!

Good to see, can't wait to see them on TV

the whole Idea of the day was for mike to show his buggies it just happen to be that andrew and eilleen happened to come for a visit so get the facts right before you start mouthing off wes!!!:alien

Graham, I think you need to read before you mouth off.

Brian said,

now going with what Brian said, it wasn't a very fair showing of manx buggies.

Despite that, I was actually having a joking dig at Mike and his GS Limo's as that is what friends do to each other for a laugh. I like Mike's buggies.

I get along with Mike very well and chat to him whenever we have a chance to catch up at shows, I am a member of his club, use his parts on my car, and go on club runs with him.

So before you mouth off at people, you should think about what your saying. And besides, Matt agreed with me, and you didn't say anything to him.

Learn to relax man..... :puke
