on another forum, a member is posting up some pics of his ride through mexico.

here's a pic of a food market stall. check the background. haha.

event though the've stopped maing them they stil must be pretty common.

one question though. going on the quality of mexican bits i have bought for my buggy, i'm very surprised that if you made a whole beetle out of them they would actually drive.

Reminds me of my visit to Mexico. First thing I was told was not to buy food from roadside sellers. First thing I did was get a scalding hot ring burner chili dish from a street seller.

No Mexico City tummy but was wondering why the "bowl" was a wierd shape while I was tucking into the chili. When I finished I tuned the "bowl" over to discover it was the lethery shell from the armadillo I had apparently just eaten.

lol, reminds me of Spinal tap, "we've have armadillos in our trousers..."

Yeah, I would have thought they'd fall apart while being put together.

Maybe they keep the good bits for themselves and send the crap to us sucker Aussies.
