What transport company
Andy42 - April 5th, 2003 at 06:01 AM

I need the name of a transport company that will send a 2L motor from Sydney to Brisbane. All the ones I have phoned do not want to do it seeing as it is a private thing with no business numbers.

Try startrack express at acacia ridge
We used to send engine blocks and parts with these guys.
Get your contact in Sydney to arrange pickup on your behalf and get them to supply you with a consignment note no. or shipping no.
Make sure its packed well .very well.

Tell ya what depending on what they are charging you I'll drive it up myself. Sounds like you can make some good money out of it if all these alleged transport companies can afford to constantly knock work back.

Andy,

I can see why you created three threads - it doesn't quite fit into any category - so I think it's best in General Chit Chat as I think everyone reads that, your post is VW related and it'll probably end up with more replies.

We use JL transport at work. they are great, but probably a bit pricey. they specialise in fragile stuff tho.

Thanks everyone for you input especially skid (mark) but it seems that if it is not sold before the nats we will use that as an excuse for going down there for the weekend and pick it up ourselves.
