We're a two VW Family again.

After the fire in the 1969 type 3 sedan we bought a 1990 Ford Laser as the run-around car. It was reliable, not very comfortable, economical, and Julia loved the auto trans. There were no Golfs (Golves) in our price range.
Last week we found a red 1996 Golf 3 CL. It met all our main requirements;
1 A/C
2 P/S
3 Auto Trans.
So, after much mucking around, and handing over the Laser + $8000, the Golf came home with us. Lots of little things to fix on it, but it will be a beauty when finished.
May bring it over to DOVW Melb. in Nov, and will be with the Green T4 at the Murray Bdge Bug-In over Easter.

The sticker I had made up. These were factory fitted on Golf 1 when new. Also had "Join the swing to Golf".

Wow, I have a mk4 with only 140000 ks for 11-12k if you know anyone that wants it...
