Semi fast lookin?

Inside of 3 weeks the car will be fitted with a new ecu and ignition, and tuned to about 330rwhp. Monaro's pffft!

More like bring on the ferrari enzo's!

Congrats again dude! See ya in 10 days!

The_Bronze. - April 4th, 2006 at 10:43 PM

You have been working towards this day for a long time. Congratulations mate. I very happy for you.

I'm keen to see the pics too.

Fantastic to hear. we're all been looking at the car for a long time, so now we can see it in the flesh..

last celtic warrior - April 5th, 2006 at 06:52 AM

Good for you Reub.

Great to see another person ignoring the attitudes of the transport dept and not letting them control what you dream up for your car. Would love to see this beauty in the flesh, but pics will do for now I spose. Bet she feels fantastic to drive.

Enjoy...

Took me a sec yesterday to understand the sms. Congrats.

Went home looked at my chop, looked at the metal, looked at how much still needs to get filled. Looked in the back and wondered for a while what else could go in that little engine bay.

Doug Sweetman - April 5th, 2006 at 11:36 AM

Congrats Reub !!!! Great to see, it must be a big milestone for you... Well Done.

Desert Bug - April 5th, 2006 at 12:03 PM

Congrats Rueb!!!

When I saw this car in the flesh at Christmas time, it blew me away, I'm impressed.

So pleased to see it finally made it. Gives hope to all those who wondered if their ideas would be acceptable. Only they may have to shift to Darwin to make it happen, ya gotta love the NT!!

Cheers, Ian.

reub - April 5th, 2006 at 09:55 PM

Cheers for the feedback guys....

Am hanging out for Ian to come back over and give the electronics an overhaul. Will be interesting to see the results on the street and the dyno.

Unfortunately the engine has to come out as the clutch is slipping big time. Slow progression of the right foot allows for some pretty wicked acceleration as it is, can't wait to feel the full flat to the floor accelleration.

I think 6lb boost is heaps enough, let alone the 18lb planned.

The car is scoring a Wolf 3d V4 plus ecu, MSD Dis 4 ignition and a secondary injector upgrade from 196cc to 440cc (that's the original 330-380cc subaru injectors plus the addition of the 440cc injectors so there should be plenty of fuel there).

I'm also impressed with the turbo installed on the car. Has been a good selection I think...it's a vf23

oval TOFU - April 6th, 2006 at 11:58 AM

sweet news to hear! You must be stoked to say the least!

reub - April 6th, 2006 at 10:41 PM

Rego plate....for now anyway. Wanted the smalest one available.

baybuscamperkid - April 7th, 2006 at 10:13 AM

wow, somany times i have looked at this baby on the net.. fantastic plates by the way, suit so well, love that in the NT you can still get such cool plates (i remember seeing a beetle in Darwin with 'PORSCH' plates)
