I think it sposed to mean " NO BEETLES" Thats the only thing I can assume.

As a type 3 owner, I sometimes feel the same way. The VW scene can be very beetle centered sometimes. That said, I suppose that's why I prefer the type 3, not as common as beetles.

Ah I see..well...I don't rapturously embrace beetles myself, but that said, they are stilll nice cars that did what they were designed for, and are still a very prominent piece of automotive history. OK, maybe the VW scene is a little Bug-biased...but why shouldnt it be?.... after all... the bug was the car that started it all!...the kombi didnt come till close to 20 years later... :tu:

Anyway tho..yes the anti bug thing did cross my mind, but it doesntseem to make too much sense... a VW emblem cancelling out a bug which is actually on top of the emblem so it is not actually being cancelled out at all... would seem if anything to indicate a pro-bug stance if anything? So if the intent was to deride beetles, then it was very poorly executed. :P :lol:

My only dub is a Bug... and if I had my way I'd have a Bus and a Type-3 too.... but I guess the Veedub could be Bug-biased since there's more of them about the place.

um, actually thats the logo for a vw show (and possibly organisation), in Catalunya, a friend brought be back a Tshirt from one of the shows, it is actually a super bug in the middle, with the text 'Amics Del Volkswagen, Catalunya' around the rim

I had it picked for some sort of club insignia, thanks for clarifying that.

I'm amazed so many people can see something that just isn't there though.
