I love my machine. It's the first thing I touch in the morning..... I might want to get a machine in the near future as mine's a manual pump one. I want to push a button...

ruckus - April 12th, 2006 at 06:23 PM

What sort of machine is the manual Oasis?

Do you mean a pull-lever type?

shaihulud - April 12th, 2006 at 06:46 PM

CPM. Since I found a very good source of high quality, roasted in the shop coffee, I've come to appreciate good coffee.

They sell only Caffea arabica. They will not sell Caffea robusta. Their prices are $20 or $22 per kilo, roasted and ground.

I recently had a coffee at a well known chain coffee shop. YUK!!! It was robusta. I'm becoming a bit of a fuss pot about coffee. A bit like a wine wanker.

I love your espresso machine. I only use a plunger so I know that I can have better coffee. Do the available small, household size espresso machines do a good enough job to be worth the expense and trouble? Can you recommend one?

waltermitty - April 12th, 2006 at 06:57 PM

I rate my atomic mate they make coffee and are simple. Mithell

Hey Ruckus, It's a La Pavoni lever type. It's fantastic to have great coffee at home.

Hey Starbug, is Espresso head still in Brisbane? It had the best coffee up there about 6 or 7 years ago. Anyone had coffee at Gypsies cafe in Fitsroy (Melb)? It's my favourite down there.

Oasis - April 13th, 2006 at 03:14 AM

one of these..

Matt Ryan - April 13th, 2006 at 07:39 AM

Chris,

Is it possible that with your dealings & imports from Italy you could get someone to keep an eye out for 50/50 tail light lenses?

Italy and Aus were the only places they were used and only for 2 years. Some nice NOS or reproductions might still be floating
around Italy somewhere.

matt i got you some 6/10 ones you can have for free just u2u me your address again they are the right ones this time :P:thumb still sorry about those other ones

CAFFINEPUSHERMAN - April 13th, 2006 at 10:12 AM

atomics are my personal fav home stove top the home units for about 900 are good my dad against my wishes purchased a new one it surprisingly delivers a good crema and grinds the coffee into a measured dose (dad wanted a vintage machine mum didn't want that old thing in her kitchen ):P single group vintage machines comannd big dollars but as a barrista for 15 years i will only use vintage manual machines in my bars they truly deliver a personal coffee experience and with a skilled operator manning the machine your espresso will bring you closer to god if only for the duration of the cup.

Matt Ryan - April 13th, 2006 at 10:18 AM

thanks Chris,

U2U sent. Would still be good if you could find some in Italy, I'm sure there would be plenty here that would take them off your hands.
