Goes to show that VW doesn't know much about sport. All that does is alienate VW enthusiasts who hate Parramatta (like me)

In Victoria VW is the ball sponsor of the AFL. The red balls all have a VW symbol on them. That way ALL clubs feel agood about it. I went to buy one but they are nearly $100 for a football !!

maybe you could just buy the shorts phil. how much are they?

I'm wondering how much a yank would pay for a genuine VW football from australia. I mean australia is where that hitler guy was born and he and volkswagen kinda go together and....

Sorry Chris, wouldn't be seen dead in Parramatta shorts, VW logo or not. I wear Souths shorts, but the less said about them at the moment the better.

I thought the same thing re. the Aussie Rules VW footballs. I can't believe how expensive they are to buy, but I reckon the Yanks would pay it. Let's see - we buy them at $A100 and sell them to the Yanks for $US100 ($A169.49) - nice profit margin there.

I was in rebel sports the other day and saw footy jumpers are $179! Tell him he's dreaming. Especially since football is more about merchandising now and they change designs and colours each year.

Wonder how much the shorts are. We can give em package deals. For an extra $50 they get a used but very rare RHD steering box.
