Any tips for someone good on reconditioning VW gearboxes on the mid north coast?

Somewhere between Taree & Coffs would be good. Would prefer close to Port Macquarie but will travel for quality work.

barls dad is up that way and runs a VW workshop doesn't he?

yeah he does nut hes not really set up for gearbox work but you can ask he will point you both in the right dirrection. heres his number 0265523190
