Early t3 fastback popout rubbers.....to all the fasty owners
Paddo - May 6th, 2006 at 12:22 AM

They seem almost impossible to track down.....

I have popouts on my fasty (u know the style where the glass flexs) but the rubbers are looking a bit tatty, as I am looking to respray my car I am looking for fasty popout rubbers.

I have tried the usual places (cip1,california import parts, etc) but no-one stocks them.

So does anyone know where to get them or.....can you doct square or notch popout rubbers to use in a fasty???

Any help would be much appreciated.

Pat

Type3 dectives are the only place to get them new...
They are in the UK.... good secondhand ones are hard to find.

Notch or Square wont fit... cant adapt.... its a fasty thing...

There were a set of pop-out windows for a fast-back at a self serve car wreckers in Centre Rd Clayton. (located in between Westall rd and Springvale Rd) Windows and rubbers. The rubbers seemed pretty good. The glass on one window has been smashed (either by some fool or by someone who doesn't know how to remove them without breaking glass - A fool none the less....). The last time I was there was about a month ago but the rubbers should still be attached to the car I think. Make sure you wear some baggy pants and you can probably get them at a discount price....

Good luck. - Adam
