These come from a crash test between the worlds safest car & what is widely regarded as the unsafest, a kombi (albeit a T3).

According to the story, the kombi climbed the wolwo & came in through the windscreen. It is also said that wolwo took it to court to stop the pictures ever seeing the light of day.

yeah, seen that sequence, if the beetle was doing about 90 then realistically considering its size it did pretty darn well.
