Well today saw a rather nice turnout for Berry Blast from the past... and of course, being one for eye-candy, I just had to take pics... so here they is folks... anyone else feel free to put up more pics. :)

Heres the first 3 splitters to arrive... the devon camper on the right with IRS rear end and a 1600 took out the Peoples Choice trophy for the day...

Nice lineup of bugs... not sure about the sparkly paint on the silver and maroon one... but each to his own :)

Big thanks to all those who made the effort to come down, especially the cars that came down from Newcastle, Ian, Rose, and there was another? hope you had a good day.

The quallity of the cars was amazing. especially that Devon, which won car of the day.

This will be the last Blast from the Past at this location, the pub has been sold and the block will be turned into shops soon, so we will need a new place to have it next year.

yer I love driving my oval that's why we drove 2 cars as Ian wanted to drive the 62 and I wanted to drive my oval any excuse to drive my oval.

I gave him a head start on way home I stopped got petrol had maccas and still beat him home hee hee.

Our other newy vw people where Adam and his dad Hash in there green 70 beetle.

Hey Dave, just a thought... howsabout the berry showground as an alternative location?... cos Berry is a lovely place to have a veedub show... nice relaxed atmosphere, pleasing to the eye, and full of hippies! :lol:

or Perhaps Whitesands Park in Huskisson? :)

i had a great day, can someone photochop a six pack onto my protruding gut??
good to meet schmeaux and the gang, share a beer with amazer and chat to all the rest. the ash bucket made an appearance and we made quite a good amount to add to the contributions.
thankyou to all who came and made my day great, especially those who contributed to the ash bucket. also a big up to the DSK boys, who let me cruise down to the show with them this year. it truly was a blast!

Well done to Dave and the guys for another great effort this year.

It's a real shame the pub has sold, like others have said it's an icon for the area. But I know for a fact the yuppies locals hate the place with a passion and Danny (the owner) is more than happy to tell you this. I'm sure Danny and his family got a dam good price.

I'm guessing the show will be at the Berry or Nowra show ground in years to come.

Moving all the crap out of that pub will take months. I want the bull over the bar. Hmm actually I think I wouldnt mind the bar. If it all goes to auction, let me know.

The Ash fund now has enough money for 1st class return trip now. Make sure you hand over every cent Fish.

My daughter had a crap day. She bought some polished stones and glass beads, then left them behind after the street performer juggler guy. Then after looking at the rest of the markets we watched the juggler again as we missed first half earlier. She was given $5 for her help in the last trick. Went and bought another stone. Got home and dropped it, and it shattered everywhere.

hello shmobuger i was at the blast from the past, my bug was snapped at the gate coming in lol.Just got the new motor in at about 12:30am sunday morning yes i was very tired that day but it was a good day. I've never had so many people ask me whats wrong with the rear wheels of my car lol
