wil sanblasting get chrome off wheels?

PurpleT3 - May 8th, 2006 at 04:42 PM

I don't think so. Chrome is usually removed by a reverse plating process. It is often done by chrome platers.

Try Envirostrip at Enfield... online at http://www.envirostrip.com.au
They did my notchback's body and engine tin etc
They specialise in classic car restorations as well.
Tell 'em Toby sent you :thumb

They also cut the custom flutes into the front for motorcycle radiators (for water to air intercooler) - The bumper has not been restored yet.

I also used envirostrip, They blasted my whole car and etch primed. Think it cost about $1200. Did a good job, nice and clean. Recommended
