does anyone know what the legal width the sleeve should be on rwc drums.Im running early type 3 drums which are no longer available and about to go for rwc this friday.help.....please much luv Dee...

Damo, they told me that it can only be 60 thou over. So on a 230mm drum, thats only 231.5mm. Mine were 234mm thats why I have to go and see Rhett!

You can still get new type 3 wide five stud pattern drums. Got a new pair from Micks Motors the other day for about $160. You just have to get them sent in thats all. He had a set by accident, but they are available from the US and I am sure that most shops would get a new set in for you if you ordered them.

are the type3 drums wider or narrower than stock beetle ones ?

Wider just by a bit and as so you get a wee bit better stopping power than a normal beetle one
