Have seen glimpses of it before....

White late beetle with top cut off it....

Black convertible top..... [Not Karmann Cabriolet]

New Police car was a Ford Zephyr.... UK Made... UGLY..
Yes... early sixties model....
so the Beetle is the incorrect model for that year....

thats funny heartbeat was on the tv out in the loungeroom i wasnt watching it but i was sure i heard a bug on it but when i had a look there wasnt, thought it was just me going crazy
i can hear peashooters fweeming from a mile away LOL

I love spotting incorrect model VWs in TV shows and movies, I guess the producers think they are all the same.

im the same it cracks me up when producers try and recreate a whole scene from ages ago
as sad as it was i laughing the otherday whilst watching the granville train accident movie "day of the roses" which was set in 74 i think but all the car parks were full of 90s model cars
and the brand new 180B datto with a sony tape deck and aftermarket gear knob LOL
