I sighted my first Thing yesterday. It was on the road to Warrandyte. Until then I didn't really believe they existed!

My wife was impressed with my encyclopediac knowledge of VWs. Actually she thought I had lost the plot when I started yelling "Thing, Thing!" and pointing wildly at a car.

Anybody here own it?
