teenager writes off dad's Ferrari Enzo!
VWFOOL - June 5th, 2006 at 02:45 PM

What happens to a Ferrari after hitting a telephone pole at 200+ mph....???

Car loss, 1.3 million dollars.

Waiting list for a new one, 2 years.

When can I drive Dad's car again? Nuclear 1/2 life.

When will I not be grounded & see the light of day?
Same day the polar ice caps melt.

Still alive....Priceless!!!!

VWFOOL - June 5th, 2006 at 02:48 PM

baybuscamperkid - June 5th, 2006 at 03:09 PM

ren - June 5th, 2006 at 03:11 PM

No waiting list I'm afraid. You can now only buy them 2nd hand! That pic of the engine is great....

zac_smits - June 5th, 2006 at 03:30 PM

VWFOOL - June 5th, 2006 at 03:37 PM

Nope, this particular one only happened this year... I think I wrote a thread when I saw it on the news... the story I believe was that he was drunk as a skunk, and it was his car, and he was indeed racing somebody... a person in a Merc if I recall. :puke
His story to the police was that some guy he didnt know was driving and that he ran away after the crash... :duh

Yeh... likeley story... we ALL let strange random's drive our Ferarri don't we! :jesus

The guy deserves to not have it... although the Ferarri didnt deserve that tho! :cry

Wild1 - June 6th, 2006 at 11:21 AM

yup, no sympathy.. but a car like that deserves better:sniffle:

bond - June 6th, 2006 at 11:26 AM

possibly - sometimes i think its much cooler to see an enzo at 250+ clicks be diced into two halfs by a telegraph pole thanks to an intoxicated driver - rather than sit in some tools garage and get driven once a month.....

lol.. just playing

nick :o

Joel - June 6th, 2006 at 04:35 PM

dont mind me i was half asleep when i wrote that
it was a 2003 model and it happened on feb 21 this year

if anyone wants to know the full story its on the wreckedexotics website: http://www.wreckedexotics.com/special/enzo/

It's like they say ' A Ferrari owner is not necessarily a Ferrari driver '
