Having a hard time finding a frieight company to send a rolling shell to the US. Well, I'm having trouble to get someone to actually ring me back, let alone get a price. Great customer service when no prick wants to call you back :o

I've looked in the yellow pages to no avail, plenty of companies sending across aust but no one OS.

So has anyone used a company that does this if so who did you use? What was the rough cost??

I can't help you with the name of someone who can transport you car, but I suggest that you make contact with the people who are regularly bringing in cars and parts for hot rods by the container load. Try the Hot Rod Club.

I went and asked Shannons who they use...then rang the company. Very expensive. I last did this for a third the price quoted, but check yourself. Vantage Freight Services 02 9666 5600.
I'll keep checking.

I can't remember the company name (its "california....something") based near brisbane. He imports cars regularly from the US (not sure about exporting though) - does a lot of mustangs etc. From memory it was around $3K including taxes etc to get a car in. Check out the "Cruzin" magazine in the newsagent, they have a full page ad in there which should give you contact details to at least ask the question.
