i stumbled across this south american market vw, the saveiro.
i personally think it looks great, i also think that if vw released something like this in aus. they would surely sell a fair few!
here's some pics:
let me know what you think...
kai
i have a pet hate for cars with those black coloured plastic bumpers but other than that it looks great.
the last one looks kinda mustangy from the front.
looks very like my little proton jumbuck except for the doors top little unit
i would love one thats dropped, with the r32 running gear oh and a turbo
of course, why you ask, why not, thats why haha:P
I don't mind the looks but the Proton Jumbuck isn't selling like it should and there is nothing wrong with it....
they were supposed to fill the gap left by the Subaru brumby ute, which sold heaps in Australia....
the main street of Scone used to be filled with them a few years ago....
The Jumbuck is larger too....
only its not 4WD.... it looks like country people like to have 4wd just in case......
Lee
or maybe they like to have a flat four boxer engine....
Brazillian VWs are usually only made in LHD.....
and don't have to comply with compliance laws
so "they can't be driven on public roads in California."
so if We all change over to the other side......
like they did in Sweden many years ago at Midnight one Sunday.....
Yikes...
I'd have one!
Make a great alternative to the boring old Commodore and Falcon.
I recon I'd get one, then mongrel it... badass rims, bullbar... airhorns, bullhorns, driving lights, truck mirrors, running boards... hehehe... the
whoooole shebang! :bounce

me thinks such may be the case too.... notice it has no handles...
No, it wouldn't sell here. Proton proves that

.
Nice car but just another ute...
Any word on how much...???
Those side rear windows look silly...
They go too high into the roof..!!!
It would look better with them level with the door glass...
or fill them in all together,
But then it looks like a Proton Jumbuck...
:P
Would be too expensive.......
