In the past week i have been without my car for one day while she got a major service done and few things fixed. Then spent not one but two mornings down at the tyre place getting knew 2 new tyres for my baby. There goes all my over time pay from the week before. My car now sounds so good, runs and drives well and is actually going into gear the way she should, no more being locked out of gear. The problem was a worn coupling. Only thing is that she has to go back on thursday for another day in the shop to get a few more minor things seen too. I hate being without my car but it is so good when she is back home again. Even if the bank account looks empty afterwards, it is money well spent.

Must feel great to have it all fixed up and have you car back again.
I wish I could relate with that feeling of joy and elation. However i think the closest i can come at the moment is sharing the feeling of having an empty bank account :P

I know the feeling, I just got 2 secondhand wide rims...got them painted nice then bought wider tyres for them...looks good now....drives smooth...but empty wallet.
