Its just outta curiosity. the 2nd from the right is to my 69, the 2nd from the left, well it unlocked the driver door on hte 67, but not sure of
ignition. the other one, no idea, the one on the far right came with the 67 (had a broken ignition key, so the seller thought a few spares just may do
the trick and fit in). Smart move, but the ignition was busted anyways.
so yeah, any look like urs
By the way, if u got a vw key collection, do show

hey chris
years of owning vws i got keys everywhere these are just the ones that were here in the desk draw
the round vw logo one is the glovebox key for my 71 super bug
and the others are just spares from my other bugs
the left one in ur pic looks the same as my fuel cap key the one with volkswagen on it sitting under my alarm remote
ur 69 keyprobably isnt original either pretty sure thats a 70s style key
my Lbug had 9 of those when i got it for doors, decklid, ignition, ive rekeyed them all the same now
interestingly enough my 74 Lbug and my 74 1300 which were built one month apart had the same ignition key code cept for the last number

thanx for the insight joel, Big help.
Yeah, was only thinking, the amount of keys to open up all the things if u were to replace locks and ignition would be nasty
I was going over my new purchase 54 beetle the other day and noticed a little thing that I had never seen before on a 54 (I have had a few) and on
closer inspection I thought it looked like a spare key holder so I undid the butterfly nut in the back and the original key fell out. Not like any
other VW key I had ever seen before but matches the original one my friend also has. Also fits the ignition... bonus. Will post a pic when I get the
car.
Turbo54
The one 2nd from the left is the same as my 67 key.
i wonder if knowing different types of vw keys will get you a passing grade at uni?
