Finally saw the Full throttle show on Austar today.....

I wonder why they picked the "one Year Only" 1967 Beetle to use in the show....

For those Who don't know....
The 1967 German made Beetle has door handles that were Only used in 1967..
Vertical 12 volt headlamps with horn grills... in the USA
It has the large glass that came in 1965 from Germany.
Early type bumpers... flat hubcaps.. black & white wheels..
67 Beetles in Europe still had sloping [12 volt] headlamps

they kept interviewing one of the 'New Beetle' designers..
and spelt Volkswagen incorrectly : Volkswagon....
every time....

both cars were in excellent condition....
One of the new Scat engines that were installed didn't go too well....
Nice gearboxes though....
