Yes you read it correctly.... Mark Herbert Died.
On the 11th of this month Mark pass away as a result of injuries sustained in a head on collision with another motorist. He will be sorely missed by all those that knew him and all those that may have read some of his posts on the Cal-Look Forum. I myself have never met Mark, but I have made contact with him on a few occasions and he was always a very helpful guy. There are conflicting stories as to what actually happened on that night, but the outcome is the same.... A great VW dude has left this mortal coil.

Was sad. Had been reading this on SBO.
Mark had converted to Supers in his later days.

He was a big contributor to the VW world

Thats Really f$#ked up!
My thoughts are with the family and friends of this truly great man.
He will certainly live on strong through fond memorys.
