I've got one or two tatts,
Full sleeves, back, stomach, chest, legs and bum. In total about 50% covered. If it wasn't for the wife and kids, I'd be 90%. Last tatt was abot 10

As soon as I upgrade wives, I'll be back on the ink wagon. lol

- Eye of Horus on palm of left hand (near base of thumb) (black)
- Celtic eternity knot on chest (blue)
- Celtic eternal lifecycle symbol on right hand between thumb and first finger. This is 4 joined and stylised horse heads arranged as a swastika.
(blue, black)
- Egyptian hieroglyphs on upper left arm, saying "father to Austin and George. (black with some colour)
Next tattoo will be a Celtic stylised peacock around (and trailing back from) my left eye. (blue)
I do my own tattoos, so cost is not an issue.
My other half has a Pictish tiger/wolf on the calf of her left leg. (blue)
As for piercings, none yet. But am going to have left ear pierced soon, to make way for a gold scarab.
So how do you do your own? have you got your own business or have you just got your own gun? serious question!
Rob....

I designed my own tattoo gun. It's shaped like a pen with the power cord coming out the top. It uses a solenoid driven by half AC, by way of a simple diode on an AC adapter. This means the speed is set at 30 pulses a second, which is just right for what I want. The needle is made from 3 really fine beading needles soldered together, running in a brass guide.
lol, mcgyver man.
What did you make ur autoclave out of?
few here. arms & leg. only peircing is ear.
When I was brought up by my very conservative parents there were several rules that were not negotiable.
1.The women in this family don't attend funerals. That's gone now.
2. The men in this family don't wear jewellery. I now wear a ring made from a piece of 1" copper water pipe because of my arthritis. It helps.
3. A certain way to be disinherited was to be a full time gold fossicker. I had a great uncle who was an embarrassment to the family.
4. Another way to be disinherited was to get a tattoo. I don't have one and I never will. All I say to people who are contemplating getting a tattoo
is that sooner or later they will regret it. It might take 5 minutes ot 10 years, but sooner or later they will regret it and then it's almost
impossible to remove it.
What tattooed people do is entirely their own business, so please don't get precious and sensitive about this posting. Don't flame me.
The only difference between tattoed people and non-tattooed people is that people with tattoos don't care if you don;'t have tattoos. - Saw that
sign in a tattoo shop while getting my tatt done.

shaihulud that is one very strange comment indeed.. just my precious view
I have lots of piercings... ear x9 (6 are various size tunnels, 1 is tragus) ... 4mm tongue barbell... nipple... belly... eyebrow... nose x2.... think
that's it. I took out 2 earrings and a nose stud a few years back. I'd get more, but I don't know what!
Tattoos I'd love to get but I won't until I'm 100% about design and placement! Got a couple of good ideas though. :P
i used to regret being born with bare skin so i hid it under my tattoos.

like i posted in the other thread... ive got a yin yang on the inside of my left wrist, and a gecko on my right ankle
How could you ever regret having your kids names tattooed on your upper arm? Whatever my kids do in life, I can promise them (and myself) one thing, I
will never regret bringing them into this world. A lot of fathers that don't get to see their kids all the time get their names tattooed. It helps
the kids remember daddy is always their daddy, nomatter what anyone tells them.
I have my first love's name on my chest, and I know I will never regret it, even though it would never have worked out (been over about 8 years, and
it was me that ended it). I will be changing it soon, but I will always know her name is there, and that's fine. It's a part of my history and who I
am now, and I don't ever want to forget who I am.
And if it comes down to someone not liking the way a part of me looks, I'd rather it was a bit that I chose to look that way. I've found plenty of
people that dislike my farts more than my tattoos. LOL
As for doing certain things or keeping to rules, simply because your family expects it of you, bugger them all. I do what I think is right, as should
every human being. I'd rather be a "good GUY" for doing what's right than a "good BOY" for doing what I was told.
Anyway, I'm not having a go at anyone's standards or morality. Everyone has the right and freedom to live their life whichever way they want, as
long as they don't harm anyone else in the process. And that includes not telling other people they should live up to your standards. As the Wiccans
say (and live by), "do as ye will, but harm ye none"...
Back on the subject of tattoos, people look more interesting with a splash of colour and some cool designs. You don't see clean white canvasses
hanging in the Louvre.
both ears, and left nipple pierced. no tatts..not for a long while yet i dont think
Did my apprenticeship in the Navy, back then it was unoffically compulsory to get tatts, got some cool jobs done in Asia, very fine needle work. Wife got one from Tony Cohen a couple of years ago in Sydney. Studying the next tatt design at the moment, gota be something VW this time.
i only have my dreadlocks. had my eyebrow pierced, but a combination of pressure from work and very very angry parents made me take it out.
i intend to get it back in, but its just a mtter of time and place.
well so far i only have 2 tatts
piercings - belly button, tongue, nose, 4 in one ear and 6 in the other
Dragon on shoulder blade
