Never runs 'cold' anymore. It's always smooth-as!
Is your beast nearing completion?
Craig Paton - July 8th, 2006 at 08:08 PM

Lol, u gotta teach me golf then
Last time i played was back in school
3 yrs ago... took me at least 5 swings before i could hit the ball when driving... at most... 15 NO JOKE!
Good on ya mate!! Holes in one are definitely NOT easy!
56astro - July 8th, 2006 at 10:31 PM
I would have had more, but the hole is never in the right spot!
kirk - July 8th, 2006 at 10:57 PM

I've never pared a hole, let alone a game, or a hole in one. Closest I've gone is hitting the flag on a bogey shot. I am capable of pulling a great
shot out of my bum every now and then, actually won the longest drive the first time I played, but I can never hit 3 or 4 decent shots at the one
hole. If I get 2 or 3 good ones in then I choke and take another 2 or 3 to putt out.
Tried to get out for a hit this morning but every single course in all of Wollongong was booked out. Even Wollongong course of which half is under
reconstruction, and stinks of the adjacent sewage plant was booked out.

Sounds to me like you get too pumped up after some good shots.!
Really got to have lite hands and feel the shot with every club. Next time you hit a good shot, just remember to relax your grip a little on the next
and hit with a 80% swing.
"The ball is in the way of a great swing." Keep saying this to yourself before you swing!
Hope this helps.

That would be one problem. I have several.
When I get flustered, I hit off the back foot a bit like a cricketers straight drive.
Water hazards appear magnetic.
Medium distance putts drive me nuts, anything between 1.5 and 4.5 are never going to go in.
Short chip shots... I practice them in the back yard and I'm a wizard. Adjacent to the green I hit the top of the ball and roll it over to the other
side.I think I need a sports psychologist LOL.
I've watched a few DVD's (including Mick Molloys Shonky Golf).. I know what to do... I'm just not good at putting it all together.

Whatever your doin in your short game translates throughout your whole game!
Lifting your head during the chips and skulling them, is possibly why you hit off the back foot during the full swing..???
Putting is a mind thing mostly! Golf has a tendancy to make one discover deep dark emotions.
