found a few old wrecks
helterskelter400 - July 20th, 2006 at 08:36 PM

out for a ride on my dirtbike the other day, may have got lost and found an old dumping ground. a few old cars and a few vws along with 3 or more old pans rusting into the ground.

always fun to find old wreks and have a poke around.

does anyone know what car the steering wheel came off.

Toyota - I think a 'Shovelnose' Corona.

Yes it is fun finding old cars - and sad, too. There's some history there!

It's amazing how old Beetle floorpans DON'T rust, huh...

When I was a kid, one of the farms we lived on had some fantastic old cars rusting away, used to go for "drives" all the time! LOL!

Not a Vanguard, but i reckon your on the right track, it looks british (almost Rover like) at the back, but the front seems american to me? confused :spin:

I KNOW WHERE AN OLD VAUXHALL VANGUARD UTE IS! My grandpa got one in the banana plantation. wasn't smashed up, just rusted up, would make a great project!
