Here's a few pics from our breakfast run from Hobart cbd to the beach at Blackmans Bay.
It was a great turn out. The weather was good, a little cold in town but by the time we hit the beach it was pretty good for Tas in winter!
It was a good mix of air and water, early and late.

Good pics guys!!! It makes it real worth while setting up an event when it turns out like this one did. What a day and what a location, each surprise breaky just gets better. Man , gotta rack the brain to think of another spot to top of this one.
If anyone has any ideas then u2u me, dont post it up for all to see, not knowing where we are going is the key to the event.

So much for the kombi mass trip that it was billed, but we had fun with our buses, i had you up that hill to, had to pull on the handbrake not to clean you up, after that i was just cruisin up the hill, you won a one man race!!!

Yeh thats right, i had to engage reverse half way up the hill, if that overtaking lane had of come up earlier then you were toast, i had to drop off the pedal to stop running into you. Then i decided the race was over, Not saying the splitty doesnt go mate, heck i have seen the green ticket.

Poor little Gwen trying to scrabble away up the hill away from that mean ol' kombi! :P

Nice bunch of cars there folks. The bus looks great Jeremy. Just wish we in Melbourne could score a fine Sunday for a cruise. Don't remember the last one.

Well I was actually in first and only using the starter motor to get up that hill!!

Mate dont tell bloody lies!!! That battery was flat yesty and wouldnt have run wet paint let alone push a splitty up hill.:P

That's how powerful my starter motor is!

Leave poor Gwen alone! She's a tired old girl! She may not be the fastest VW... But she still starts every time! :P

Come on jo , gwen's not tired, she kicked arse on the water pumper day, big drive for an old notchy!! You just cant match the massive HP of the 1600cc standard single cab uterus!!

Oh and did i mention her heaters work damn well! :P

Oh i'm being honest, i think she is a bit tired! She sounds very rattly compared to that bug that was there today!
