got pulled over today by the cops .
cop says you got no bumbers,no worries i say i got my engineers report,cop reads it,hum, he says nothing about not having any bumbers defect/////.
getting more detailed certificate tomorow.
and yes i was so pissedoff.

didnt have to change a thing. engineer gave me a more detailed report got blue slip, alls good. will also be making a formal complaint about the cop.

That sucks, i once got a yellow once for not having a rear bumper, i told him that bumpers were a factory extra not standard, just like a bull bar on a 4x4 but he wouldnt have any part of it. I drove it straight over the pits, still without a rear bumper, 6 years later it still doesnt have a rear bumper. Even when i went to the pits, the techy who was inspecting my car said, mate, what a joke, i cant believe you got a sticker for that.

Did you still have the holes in the body for the bumper? I've heard if they're filled in, or at least grommeted, you can't get dicked.. I had a cop do a walk around my car when i got pulled over for a random breath test and I got off with nothing... (never mind that my front rims were 13" and my rears were 15.... hehe)
