yeah,and not mutch more to do to my volksrod
make new front gaurds
re direct steering
finish hoodlinning
weld more holes up where gaurds bolted on
lower rear end
do service on engine
make new bracket to support fueltank
fix stereo
ect,ect,
maybe two nights seep for me/shel be rite..

oh man, Im green with envy already!

I have a strange mixture of excitement & panic/dread, will I get all the work completed on time, will it all go ok or will there be problems requiring more work? Shit what am I wasting my time gibbering on here I should be out under my beetle.

paint the floor,
clean up my wiring,
wash and detail the whole car,
swap my wheels and tyres over,

and I'm just quietly a little nervous about a 6 hour drive.

Can't wait to get there though. should be a great weekend. :bounce

we'll be sitting on a steady 90kms and stopping every couple of hours for checks and maintenance so we're all set to go.

just need to get the interior done!
bought window winders, fuel lines and spare fuel filter for the trip... num nums!

stop at your closest truck stop and tie a rope to your car and a truck

yay!! just arrived up in coffs, valla is so soon!! i got all excited when i drove past the "valla beach" sign :bounce :bounce :bounce

yay, bus is back from der shop ... engine had oil pressure seal issues, so engine back in, now holds the oil as it should ... new ignition switch and relay to deal with the voltage leakage off the non-aux switch, so now the battery doesnt die overnight (we hope).

Hoping to get an electrician out to wire up a 15A inlet and breaker tommorrow - Unless someone can tell me where the friggin earth should go...

Dead nervous about the drive up too....so far I've been to Narooma and back....so definately not convinced all the gremlins have been killed...its just not got the ks on it to give me confidence...time will tell.

Was getting really excited, got the oil changed, tappets done, timing done, put a kit through the carby, cleaned the interior & was going to was & polish the old girl thursday arvo & friday morning then my 2 & 1/2 year old daughter has been put into hospital with pneumonia which is a bit of a worry. Still hoping to at least race up for a look on the Sunday but my little girl takes first priority. If we dont make it I hope the rest of you have a great weekend.

Inside has been 'furrifired' hood lining etc...adn new door cards made..even the glove box is fur.

Jo is sleeping, and i am just finishing up the last of the washing .... my daughter didnt bother to check she had what she needed to go to granmas despite being told a number of times...ARGH...so am now doing final wash of her clothes..

plus am checking final details on where to meet everyone...and i lost my phone
