Just wondering who makes sidepods to suit a Manx and an approximate price
Umm good question, I have thought about some for my buggy. I think brad @ COR has a some, not sure tho.......
Wot about Moosey?? Sharpbuilt/COR ETC...
Here we go again. This is one of my favourite hobby horses. The reason why Bruce Meyers was sent broke back in the 1970s was because people were
copying his products and selling them cheaply.
Don't be miserable. Give the man who invented fibreglass dune buggies and side pods a well deserved royalty on his inventions. Buy the genuine
article from the inventor.
They are as, you well know, (that pic is from the Manx Club web site), US$275 for club members and US$302.50 plus shipping etc.
If you are not a member, then join the Manx Club for the difference in the prices.
To quote J R R Tolkein from the Ballantine Books boxed edition of the Lord of the Rings, "This paperback edition, and no other, has been published
with my consent and co-operation. Those who approve of courtesy (at least) to living authors will purchase it, and no other."
Do the right thing. Pay the man.
Ok they may be listed at US$275, but by the time I get them to my door they will be a hell of a lot more plus the hassle of getting them from OS. Yes I would like genuine Manx sidepods but I don't know if I can justify the price.
