There was a nice little bunch at Sawtell caravan park last year for the first-ever 'Bi-annual Sawtell Spring Break VW Weekend': Karina, Steve C, kombikid and his family, etc etc. The weather was...umm...okay... the beer and prawns were nice!

Has anyone decided on the dates? etc!

Yeah if a date is decided soon and you promise some sunny weather Rod and I might make the cruise from Vic up. This time though we will only bring the one bug. Driving for two days on my own is just too much !

We are going to work on the dates with Ray (Kombi kids dad). We dont want to clash with anything else thats on. Ray had some great ideas for things to do. We will keep you all posted when its sorted out.

yeahtop idea - Sat arvo (not morning!) show would be good in the main street between the bridge and the PUB! Picnics/beers on the grass strip in the centre! Ahhh, I love Sawtell!

Local traffic can be easily detoured around, too

So is there any guess as to what part of the year (since final dates re still being determined) as in Easter? June/Julyish? etc

OI ...dumone ..that idea of a kart challenge is on the list ...racing is more difficult to organise ...a few of the ClubVeeDub guys and Stan popjoy where keen to do some hill climbing ..see what comes out ...needs an organiser &ClubVeeDub would have to underwrite...thanks Dave

Wally..asked the chamber of commerce about the steet show but where ante it ..blocks trade???...will write to em again...the hot rodders had a nite/early evening show which was different and effective.
