Casual Dubber
phatrat - April 21st, 2003 at 05:30 PM

I don't call someone a "Casual Dubber" who is rebuilding a 76 kombi camper including water-cooled transplant with air-cond. Spending every spare moment and $$$.

And wrecking another....

Don't want or need a title...

Spending all that money on a 76 is making you uptight.
Relax buddie and go with the flow......

It ain't the money, it's you spend a lot of time and effort on your project..Then jump on this thing, to check out the new posts and look in the left hand corner and see it...

There ain't nothing casual about what I'am doing

Our normal rule of thumb is that when you get 1000 posts, you can change your title ("custom status";).

But you've struck gold and made "Committed Dubber". Most of the titles from here on in just get better.

Post more, get better titles :)

Andrew

OvalGlen - April 21st, 2003 at 11:13 PM

congrats, now if you Keep on posting people will think you need "Commiting , like me " . :o

phatrat - April 21st, 2003 at 11:14 PM

vanderaj...so at 1000 can I have nothing?

vanderaj - April 21st, 2003 at 11:22 PM

Ahhh, let me think. It's really up to someone lazy like me to add the custom status. There's an awful lot of inertia to overcome :)

The 1000 post rule is for those who really spew crap all the time, and thus to make it all worthwhile. ;) It's like a degree - show up for three years, and you get a piece of paper. In our case, it's a few choice words of your own choosing above your avatar.

But blank, I think I can make an exception for.

blownKombi - April 22nd, 2003 at 09:12 PM

if i spent anywhere near as much time on the car as some of you guys spend on the net my kombi would be finished!

OvalGlen - April 22nd, 2003 at 09:59 PM

....and my Blower would be on car and running.....

although there is a little question of money too. my next step is $ 400 for MIG.
This entertainment only costs me 20 cents every other night.
