Buying in QLD and living in NSW
Beerboy - September 6th, 2006 at 11:13 AM

I am looking at buying a kombi that is QLD registered. Is it easy enough to transfer the registration and drive it back.

I know that I will have to get it blue slipped and NSW registered after 3 months. Is that right?

No, you have to get a blue slip and rego in 14 days. Might be 7 days!

Yep you gotta get that blue slip & you only get about 2 weeks or so to change your address.

bond - sounds like a plan ;-)

will have to check I thought you had 14 days to change ownership is that the same as rego. will have to investigate.

we really need the united states of Australia well at least when it comes to car ownership
