Has anyone heard or used Atlas 3" whitewall flaps on 165 Michelins to find the outer edge of the whitewall not touching or seating against the tyre correctly? I've seen other cars run 3" flaps on Michies without any trouble, but the tyre guy recommends against it due to the aforementioned problem..
