Last weekend Peter Gumley won the Australian hillclimb in his supercharged type 4 open wheeler. It's the 6th year running that he has won, 7th in total making him the most successful driver ever.
I got some results in front of me for rounds 2 and 3 of the NSW series. Just first placings in each class. I dont see Misters Craig Torrens, Ben Durie
or Stan Pobjoy anywhere. You guys competing this year?
What engine is Col Mayman running?

HI Amazer, round 1 was Wakefield park where I came first in class, equaled my record, and 6th (I think) in the top ten shoot out .
Did not run Bathurst as I was in Melbourne for work and missed Canberra due to wifey wanting "quality time"!!
I hear Gumley slaughted the field and could have gone home after the first run !!
I will run the rest of the series hopefully , although I am not really motivated anymore! (now my 7th year)
See you at Dapto in May, i Think this is when it is?:thumb
Sorry forgot Col.
I think he runs a 1916 that Hellbug built, this was the case 3-4 years ago, although this may have changed. I have not seen Col for about 1 year
now,He used to race the Tamworth hillclimb state rounds.
Has he run this year?
quality time? thats when im away from the wife. We never argue when we not together.
I missed the WSCC meeting wednesday night due to me being at easter show with 'the kid' so i'm not sure but I think Huntley round will
be cancelled due to ongoing track licence problems.
Hoping for a november climb to celebrate 50 years.
Errr made a phone call.
The May championship round has definitely been postponed.
He ran at Bathurst at least.. 1st in class 31.69. Like I said I've only got the 1st placings that came with WSCC magazine.
Good to see that VW's are still killing em, regardless of engine configuration. Not bad for a 60 year old engine design.
Gumley won in a supercharged car,
just think how much better it would be if he Upgraded to a Turbo charger.
