can someone point me in the right direction for weber carb spares in australia, as i need to change the venturi's in my idf 40's,anyone got any 28mm
ones??? please!!!!
all info greatly recieved...thank's...boomer
WHY 28's ???
A 1600 should have 32's
a 1776 should have 34's and 36's in a 1916
Not my opinion - this is the Weber hand book i can post a pic of if you like
What ever
They are getting hard to find.
Do a search for

Recarb in Asquith,NSW.
cheers guys ,am goner try 28's to make the thing a bit more drivable on the road,32's are all right for plenty of top end welly ,just thought the
28's would make the motor react better in the low rev range.
bizzare post the tech detail up please.
i've got 28s in mine and the drivability is great
bottom end wise it pulls heaps harder than with a 34pict3
and even the topend isnt much different to when i ran twin 34 carbs
ive been getting good mileage too but for best fuel consumption so far i havent been able to beat the 34s
i put the weber back on to see how well it can handle boost
just trying to find some turbo emulision tubes for it
