-Staggers.

VWCOOL - October 15th, 2006 at 09:23 PM

Hertz - October 15th, 2006 at 09:45 PM

for every brand of car there will always be someone pissed of with it. I get it every day at work.

VWCOOL - October 15th, 2006 at 09:57 PM

Yep, happens all the time huh! Someone screams 'LEMON' because the CD player jumps or some sheit

Hertz - October 15th, 2006 at 10:00 PM

Or they bought a new Citroen and cant find the button that makes it an ice skating robot.

empi - October 15th, 2006 at 10:04 PM

Hahahahahahaaa

Volkswagenboy - October 15th, 2006 at 10:08 PM

I must add to this rant that Frieghtliners are lemons.
If you can afford to fork out $300, 000 to buy a new prime mover, fork out a little more to buy a Kenworth, can't go wrong with a Kenworth powered by a C15!

I wouldn't bother watching that crap , media hyped up Bull Shit , they have trouble finding storys.
I just watch the ABC news instead, get enough brainwashing just from that.

Same reason I don't buy tabloid newspapers or glossy car magazines, full of completely useless info.

helbus - October 15th, 2006 at 11:35 PM

I would rather surf the web for porn than watch that rubbish.

h - October 15th, 2006 at 11:44 PM

ohh another 'QUALITY' piece of journalism coming right your way by the looks of it..
c'mon people wake up n smell the coffee..
sensationalised BS, you'd learn more by watch the neighbours dog laying steamy no. 2s around his yard..
honestly thats probably the headline story for the following night..
damn must stop giving that show such 'ground breaking' stories..
pfft.. talk to your kids instead.. more entertaining..

Craig Torrens - October 15th, 2006 at 11:44 PM

I'd rather make porn for the web

h - October 15th, 2006 at 11:52 PM

yeah or that too..

helbus - October 16th, 2006 at 12:04 AM

New story for ACA.
"VW owners are making their own webporn"

h - October 16th, 2006 at 12:07 AM

Joel - October 17th, 2006 at 07:33 PM

just saw that what a laugh

ok the dodgy roof yeah maybe the cars fault
unless she tried to see if it worked at 100km/h LOL
but nearly all the rest u can tell is just from rough treatment

i dont think they'd win VW dealership of the year tho

-Joel

VWCOOL - October 17th, 2006 at 07:38 PM

It was nothing. Little more than a roof needing adjustment

68AutoBug - October 17th, 2006 at 07:43 PM

Yes,
I just watched ACA...
a lot of faults for one car....
I have never found European cars as good as Japanese made cars....

thats why i buy New Mitsubishis....
at least i know i can go 200,000 without anything major going wrong...
and with a 5 year warranty etc... free roadside etc...

I believed there was a LEMON law for New cars....
and any NEW car that had enough faults was either swapped for another one or refunded....??
Seems there isn't ....
maybe never was.... ??
well how do i know there was a law ????
Maybe it never eventuated....??

and seeing that Australian made ford "LEMON" it doesn't cover Aussie made cars either....

Was the New beetle 2nd Hand when She bought it???
two years ago ??

I read on AVD today about someone with a new beetle and the electric windows didn't work...
same with the lemon beetle...
sometimes the roof didn't go up...
Still, its BAD publicity for VW in Australia...

Just remember that New Beetles are made in MEXICO...
as far as i know....??
and VW in the USA already has a bad name from selling Mexican made products....

and We all know that Mexican spares for early beetles are rubbish... thats if the parts fit at all...??

Lee

jakjones - October 17th, 2006 at 08:06 PM

Lee

Mitsubishi is made in Australia ...........
Evo's are great but apart from those ummmmm:(
some Mexico Parts are very good
I like those new Beetles they look to be very good Quality
unlike the new Mini etc looks very dodgy

amazeer - October 17th, 2006 at 11:08 PM

Mitsubishi Australia only builds the 380. All the rest are imports.

I thik the lemon law exists in the US. A damn good idea. When you invest that much money you should be able to get it back if they cant fix it in one or two attempts.

helbus - October 17th, 2006 at 11:56 PM

Pffft new cars. I would rather buy a 20 plus year old car knowing I am entering into buying a car with faults and wear an tear problems etc. It is easy to live with. Like buying an old house. We like the characteristics of older items.

New things can tear your heart if you genuinley or misunderstandinly feel that all new things will be perfect. In varying degrees of course.
