Windscreen Rubber
SPRINTSTAR - October 19th, 2006 at 10:29 PM

Can anyone recommend any 'Old School' windscreen installers in Melbourne that can install the chrome trim and the rubber on my new windscreen for the Ghia. I've just had the trims re-chromed now I wish I hadn't dismantled the bloody thing!
Thanks for any leads..

well at least bring one of the DSR's along! You could have a 'DSR Kissing Booth' for $2 a pop. I'd probably have 2 go's!:spin:

Can also try 0418350069. I think his name is Colin. Did both my front and rear screens and alum trims even after I bent one ..DOH!!! Charges $50 a hit I think. Works for himself and is a nice guy.

My Son just did his ovals windscreen using a new rubber and installing the chromed bits....

I have always just thrown them away....
I do like the look of them, but have always thought it impossible to fit them...
thats after you have un installed them without bending..

How you do that....??

I don't know..... a German trick for sure....
