We are heading down into brunswick head/byron bay area next week and was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to stay. We are looking for a camping ground as we are planning on camping. We would like to try and avoid the schoolies if possible
Kombibob and i recently stayed in his kombi at the First Sun caravan and camping ground! Its walking distance from the beach and town! So convenient
and good amenities!

you won't be able to avoid the schoolies any where in Byron...as its not that big a place.
First Sun Caravan & Camping ground is closest to the beach in town close to everything...you can walk everywhere you won't have to drive anywhere.
But if you want a little more peace I would recommend Broken Head Caravan park....a stones throw to the beach but you need a car as its outside the
CBD of Byron.

Is Broken head caravan park down towards the lighthouse or is it sth of Byron. would there be less schoolies at Brunswick heads than byron.. We will be in our kombi (bus 73) so we are always looking for a chat with fellow Vee dubbers
There would be less schoolies in Bruns area.
Broken head C/Park is the other side of Byron CBD, going towards Lennox heads-Ballina.
I live 2mins from Broken Head & most residents live this side of Byron.
