My bus in "Ten Days on the Island"
4hammers - November 20th, 2006 at 12:13 AM

Hi.
As mentioned in some previous posts, my 62 was selected as the "Mascot" for Tasmania's premier arts event, "Ten days on the Island". The event gets people from all over the world, ONLY Islanders (Manhatten, Sardina, Newfouldland, Scottish iselks etc.) & they all come to Tasmania & perform, or have exhibitions in towns all over the Island. Anyway, it has been launched & the commercials are being broadcast Statewide (Not sure about mainland yet). Here is a link to the Ten Days site, where you can check out the commercial.

http://www.tendaysontheisland.org/

Down the bottom of the page, there is a "Play Commercial" button. Click on it & let the ad load. It will stagger at first, but once loaded, start it again & it is much clearer (Tech guys are going to suss it apparently).
Hope you like it.
There is an 8 minute DVD also, but I need to load that onto "You Tube" or something, then add a link.

Hi all,
Thanks for that. I am pretty stoked with it all. Lucky break for a new business. Hard work though.....if you call cruisin around in a Split hard!! LOL. Seriously though, huge amounts of work goes into such a small commercial. Crazy.

Hey Jeremy,
you gotta come down to Salamanca again soon. Ed went down last week, but I was away up in Launceston. I won't be there this week either though, up in Longford for the day with the bus. Another area launch I think. I want to check your new ride.
