I'm hoping to make the supersprint. If I do it will be a late entry.

My car is in bits again but it's on the way back together. I found out two things after the nationals. I hate solid gearbox mounts and secondly my engine decided to bend 4 pushrods.

So I've installed normal gearbox mounts again and I've redone the rocker geometry with 1.1:1 rockers instead of 1.25s. I don't know why the pushrods bent. All I can think of is that I installed the rocker shaft in a hurry and it cocked on oneside whereby it didn't seat properly which would have put everything out.

Hopefully I'll be able to test drive the car one night this week.

Apparently there will be two other beetles joining Jak and I.

If I do make it to the track it will be interesting. V-Force built a late 1300 gearbox for me which should give the car heaps more punch out of the turn 1 and the final turn.
