We it is for me anyhow, I sold this car 9 years ago after building it and owning it for 14 years. I havent seen it since, until it turns up on Ebay,
looking very sad.

That's sad, :cry
should have sold it to someone like me and it would still look like the 2nd & 3rd pic. Some people have no respect. Cheap oval tho might see if the
hubby wants another vw.
could be worse I guess, at least it's in one piece. :o
Does anyone on here own it?

The first turbo car I ever went in.
The front shot looks OK if it was hit with a buffer, but the rear and the description means its a sad sad girl.
Gentlemen we have the technology......
I'd buy it if I was in the market. Would an easy freshen up..... little rust work, a little cut and polish, a top end rebuild..... sweet as.
I can understand how it would be painful for Dave to see though......
yes a sad feeling seeing a car you once owned - or built - end up as a POS due to lack of attention. Happened to my brother: a stout 1961 model featured in magazines turned into a POS that couldn't be give away in just a few years...
That’s the VW that got me hooked on VW's. My parents hate you. LOL
and it sold for less than 2k. good price for the buyer, kick in the balls for you. it is a shame.
It just went for $1976.21 I was out bid in the last few seconds just not quick enough o well you get that hey.
I saw it on Ebay. Thought it might be a good one for the boy.
Actually, I am always seeing cars that I think I might buy the boy. But my wife keeps reminding me that the boy is only seven!

someone scored on that one...
dave, i loved that car back in the day... i hope the new buyer takes it back to as it was when you had it.
Like what VWCOOL said,
that's one of the main reasons that my Oval will always remain in the family.
Such a shame
err I just told my wife about it... and she reminded me that it was also the bridal car at my wedding
Obviously one of those things I have tried to block out
let's hope the new owner a) fixes it and b) gets on here!
