For those who missed last year, the Fifties Fair is on again. Not a car show, but a great family day full of Fifties music, culture, artefacts,
collectables, dudes, and rides. Bring a rug and the family along for a great day out.
SBHS will be meeting up at Thornleigh Macca's as per last year. Meet at 10.00 for a 10.30 departure.
Matt if you've got some pics, throw them up.
Details of the day below...

o Fifties fair
Join us at the fabulous Fifties fair and help celebrate the music and popular culture of the 1950s against the unique backdrop of Harry Seidler’s
first commission in Australia – the striking and modernist Rose Seidler House.
This hugely popular annual fair features fifties-style music, dance and fashion, vehicle displays, food, stalls and memorabilia, house inspections,
activities and performances for the kids plus special awards for the ‘best dressed’ fifties-styled visitors to the event.
A free shuttle bus will operate between Turramurra train station and Rose Seidler House for the duration of the event.

Good idea Craig. For those interested, we'll drop down to Bobbin Head for Ice Cream in the arvo.
One more weekend to go! Should be a great day again.
Whats the venue Squiz Surburb
Rose Seidler House is in North Turramurra, in Clissold St. Hopefully you can bring the Smoothie out and meet up with us at Thornleigh Maccas prior. :thumb
Would love to bring my '54 along - what time and where for the meet-up?
Meet up at Thornleigh Macca's at 10.00, for a 10.30 departure time. It's a 15 min cruise from there. Bring your money with you as there is an entry fee, but well worth the money to look at the fashions, pick up some collectable bargains, and to have a look at Rose Seidler House.
sorry, one more question - do you know which road Thornleigh Maccas is on? - is it just on the main road / cumberland highway? i'm trying to work out my route to get there as i dont know that part of sydney that well..
It's on Pennant Hills Rd, next door to Bunnings. Nearest cross road is the Commenara Parkway.
Just got back - lovely day - it was great meeting you all.
Heres some pics...
Was yet another great "Speed Bump Hit Squad" cruise................especially with the roof rolled back !

So if you're after some good cruising and good times. Not just VW shows, but good social action for bowling, The Fifties Fair, cruising, and any
other Rod and Kustom experiences, hit us up at the Speed Bump Hit Squad!
