Turbo54 - March 28th, 2007 at 11:38 AM

Was this is a magazine (Hot Vw's?) many moons ago with a space themed background and has a two toned tan interior? Very Very nice, love to know what the colour is. Lucky you!

sh*t that's nice :D

Dasdubber - March 28th, 2007 at 12:25 PM

I remember seeing the feature - was one of the first cars I saw using the IPOD setup instead of a head unit (assuming this is the car??).

Very nice mate - welcome to oz - will hope to catch up and say hi at the nationals.

Thanks for the compliments :)

we've owned the ghia since 2003?ish and its been fully restored by myself, it was just too much a part of us to sell it before we left the UK (the wife is from Collaroy and so its a homecoming for her)

Yes it had a feature in may05 volksworld (thanks to john gilbert whos a real ghia fan)

ive put my first dent in it, the rear valance got damaged in the container by my bikes (i packed it, its my own fault!)

the colour is a Octoral metallic basecoat thats a variation on diamond grey, its a one off cock up on the paint mixing :duh
