hey bike riders,
i have been looking around for another bike as my better half wants the 650GS for herself..
so whats a man to do but look for anothery of course..
im a bit partial to the ducati, so the 07 multistrata 1100DS has caught my eye and am looking for some feedback good bad indifferent as the more info
the better yeah..
the 07 has a wet clutch now and longer n cheaper service intervals so it has become even more appealling to me thats for sure..
cheers for you input..
ciao paul
Stick with the Suzy's & get yourself a 1400 Marauder
oh yeah.. will look that one up..
it'll be used for a bit of daily commuting, cruising about with my other half that will include gravel roads and crappy roads..
i like the high stance you have on it much like the BM.. at least some road users may see you from up there..
For daily commuting,
Get one of these, I ride one to work everyday. $10 a week for fuel instead of $50.

I have a mate who is in the process of selling his BMW GS650. Bought late last year, extremely low kms. Added top-box and centre stand.
Will be asking about 14K.

there is only one duke to buy if your cruising and thats a Monster S4Rs Testastretta yum yum!!!
steff
hmmm that monster does certainly look the goods.. no doubt good choice..
get a big gs. the 1100 s can be had for under 10 and up to 27 for a 1200 with the lot,especially if you both enjoy dirty roads
if you want to do some dirt roads you want an adventure tourer bike.
If you have lots of money you can look at the;
* Ducati Multistrada - http://www.mcnews.com.au/Testing/Ducati/multistrada/page1.htm
* KTM 950 adventure - http://www.mcnews.com.au/Testing/KTM/2003_KTM_950_Adventure/Page1.htm
*or BMW R1200GS - http://www.mcnews.com.au/Testing/BMW/r1200gs/page1.htm
If you want more value for money then seriously look at a V-strom. The DL1000 is a sweet bike, detuned TL1000 V-twin, very comfy, and only $13,500
brand new.

I ride the DL650 Vstrom and I reckon it's way better than the BMW 650GS, and heaps cheaper. If I wanted more power I'd get the DL1000.
The Triumph 'Tiger' got a good review in today's paper.

yep i am currently looking at the afermentioned bikes and each has its +/-
i appreciate your thoughts and remarks and the more the merrier..
this will take a wee while i suspect but in the end i will be riding something new/used..
look forward to that!
cheers h
buy my vtr1000?
If it doesnt have Ducati written all over it you're wasting you're time
Spent a lot of years in the uk weather to know you get what you pay for...
All the best
