DVD copy software
Bizarre - March 29th, 2007 at 10:02 PM

I have a DVD-Ram Drive in my Toshiba laptop

The "Sonic - Record Now!" software on has shat itself. For some reason when i click on it, it doesnt recognize the the CD/DVD.
it says - No Recorder. Click to check for other drives.

but nothing happens.

Is there any free ware DVD copiers that i can load instead??

I can copy CDs no problem.
Data by right clicking on the drive in Explorer and enabling CD recording and Audio by using iTunes.

i can play DVDs so the drive works.

just want to copy DVDs

Any ideas???

AShampoo, Alchohol 120%, Nero 7 ... all will assist in DVD burning. If you want to 'copy' something that doesn't want to be 'copied' - as a BACKUP, say a shop bought movie, then 1CLICKDVD - Pro is good. You tired TORRENTSPY?

DVDShrink for bypassing copy-protection, and copying movie discs to fit on a single layer 4.7gig DVD.

Try removing the DVD from the device manager and re-scan for new hardware, then maybe re-install your software.

Delete the dvd drive from device manager and then reboot, it will re detect and should fix your issue.

Right click My Computer got to Manage then Device Manager, highlight the optical device and right click uninstall

After a reboot the device will be reinstalled and all should be fine.

Seen it many times on Toshi laptops.

Hope this helps :ninja:
