hey all im having a holiday at the goldcoast and missing having a vehicle to drive arround (mainly a bug) iv'e been told you can hire topless bugs in qld is there any near southport.hope somone can help me and is there any bug things on over easter in the area. thanks Gary

sunshine coast to the north (maloolaba/maroochydore) have them.... not sure about down south though...

I can't remember seeing any early bugs for rent up there for a while, but i hired a new beetle cabriolet this time last year, but i can't find the reciept for it. But i just got back from there yesterday & i know they've got at least one there (pale blue). I can't remember what they're called but they're on Gold Coast Hwy Surfers Paradise. Heading from Southport south (towards Broadbeach) they're on the left between Ocean Ave & Cypress Ave. Only problem is that they're pretty exxy.

this is getting depressing still no bugs are there any the South Port area at all. Sounds like i should have stayed in Tassie for the bugin .Ill be here till the 18th hope to see one by then Gary
