thanks guys...

the event had I think around 150+ entrants and went over 2 days.
I'm unable to comment on the attendance numbers but heaps of people went.

Congrats Reub, thats bloody awesome mate, glad to see a Dub stick it to them so well.

Doug Sweetman - April 13th, 2007 at 09:58 AM

Always knew this was a show winner, whether you meant it to be or not.... it is one of the most unique beetles in the world.

PurpleT3 - April 13th, 2007 at 10:14 AM

Well done. It's a buzz to win isn't it. Not that I've ever seen your car in the metal, but it must be of a very high standard to win so many trophys at a mainstream event.

Congrats!

I think a trophy for "Most F**cking Awesome" should have also been included.

Very well done and very well deserved.

Congrats.

Thanks Dude :thumb

Yeah...I've no doubt that the car will head down south at some stage in the future. I've a number of things I'd want to do first though, things like sorting the tune, radiator and a few other items. Brissie sounds like the place to be hey :)
I'd really also need a tow vehicle and trailer. Wouldn't trust any car carriers with the car.....

Here is a pic of me hammering the maing straight...

If I won lotto..... this car would be top of my list to chase.... above things like Enzo and 911 GT3 and 930 Turbo...... thats how much I think it rocks.

RAZ34 - April 16th, 2007 at 03:38 PM

Very impressive. Powercrusies attract some heavy duty machines. I bet the Monaro and Torana boys did'nt expect to get beat by a VW.

modulus - April 16th, 2007 at 06:07 PM

Well deserved; the VWRX is one of the best radical street packages I've seen.
